Ludwig Music, Masters Music, and Great Works Publishing announce the consolidation of all three catalogs to form LudwigMasters Publications. Beginning January 4, 2008, all orders will be directed to the Boca Raton headquarters of LudwigMasters Publications at 800-434-6340. All items will remain available, and nothing will be "out of print." The ConcertMasters series, under the editorship of William Ryden, is a new series of orchestrations designed to offer school and community orchestras a broad and comprehensive selection of music written between the eighteenth and twentieth centuries.

A new series created with your string orchestra in mind, StringMasters features world-famous titles from the orchestral and operatic repertoire expertly transcribed - for strings only. All arrangements are stylistically and harmonically faithful the original masterworks, yet not too difficult for school and community ensembles to play and enjoy.

The String Orchestra Repertoire Series-arranged by Clark McAlister, edited by Lucas Drew. Created for players at the intermediate technical level, this series provides a rich resource of musical literature ranging from the Renaissance through late Romantic periods. Many of these selections will also work well in a chamber music setting with a string quintet or quartet.
