We are proud to announce the consolidation of Ludwig Music Publishing Company, Great Works Publishing and
Masters Publications into the newly formed LudwigMasters Publications. This exciting change will begin on January 4, 2008.
Following is a list of just some of the benefits you will be receiving as our valued customer:
- All catalog items will continue to remain available. No products from any of the three catalogs will be discontinued or dropped.
"Print on demand" technology will allow our new company to serve you better and faster on orders of even the most obscure classic
works.
- LudwigMasters will continue to distribute the issues of Maecenas, SDG, Serenissima, Stone, Brook, Masters, Kalmus Band Classics, and
Great Works. All of the products that you traditionally order from any of these companies will continue to remain available through one
central order system.
- No price changes will occur as a result of this consolidation. This means that you will have no changes to make in your existing databases.
Please retain your existing catalogs for reference, they will be replaced soon with more informative and comprehensive ones.
- Important series names will remain as they are at present. ("ConcertMasters", "StringMasters", "Masters Symphonic Band Series",
"Great Works Beginning and Developing Band", "Ludwig Symphonic Band", "Ludwig Concert Band" and so forth.)
- Existing product codes will remain the same for all products. Again, this will result in less impact on the operations of our dealers and
permit them to make this change seamlessly.
- Discounts, terms and sales packages will remain as they are until our new sales force is able to learn how to serve you better. Our
representatives will be contacting every dealer to determine how we can best serve their needs and the needs of their customer. All orders
will be processed from the LudwigMasters headquarters in Boca Raton. They will use the same address and phone as the previous Masters
Music contacts.
